June 28th, 2008

Combine man’s predominant pursuits and what you’ve got is something customarily called a sportsbook betting web location. And seriously: what could imaginably be more resourceful? If you see a large assembly of sports dudes clapping for any given chosen lineup, and almost regularly bets will be geared up tied in to the tumult. Aiming to get their piece of the anticipation, bystanders customarily seek to infer who is the likeliest to win in the running competition. At the end of the day, this develops into a friendly bantering competition titled sportsbook betting web location.

Get in on the Internet’s hottest betting online review sports games here!

Granted that it admittedly might easily look compulsive however, wagering sportsbooks is, in reality, solely entertaining and of tying up with fellow sports devotees. Here, you’ll be able to wager a a puny sum of dinero and nonetheless have an extravagant time. Here are a select number of basics to get started wagering sportsbooks.

In order to wager, I would advise you surf to a sportsbook betting web location, i.e. a place that admits sportsbook betting web location. In the US, you’ll find four states where to go for wagering sportsbooks in a legal manner, but semi-legally you can try it anyplace provided that you are able to find a bookie and if you’re a legal adult. Covered track-and-field events you can choose to risk your money on are professional and, too, college basketball plus college football, professional hockey and baseball, and, too, horse and dog racing. The sportsbook company place their trust their figures to help you out establish which lineup you trust is the likeliest to win. First, you’ll see spread, that’s specific points leverage assigned to a inferior contestor assumed to take a licking by a defined number points. Plainly, this describes the odds maker’s process of offering even antes for a Sports Book. For example a person could choose to risk money on a club assumed to take a licking and and nonetheless win that wager provided that the contestor does actually take a licking by a defined number of points.

So why not conduct some test runs and relax simultaneously? Simply determine that you won’t get seized and use up your total retirement income on a conceit! If you don’t, you might find yourself in rue all life long!

Brighten up your Morning with Carnation Instant Breakfast!

June 28th, 2008

Starting your day with a Carnation Instant Breakfast drink is a great way to stay healthy and energized for the morning. Carnation Instant Breakfast is an easy-to-make, quick, and nutritious drink that pumps your body with protein, carbohyrates, and essential vitamins and minerals. I began drinking Carnation Instant Breakfast two weeks ago. Immediatley, I fell in love with the product for its quick nature and ease of use. In fact, I made sure that I drank at least three glasses of this drink a day. The nutrition drink did not fill my stomach up completely, so I casually drink it while having a bowl of raisin bran or something else for breakfast. Carnation Instant Breakfast comes in three different flavors: Creamy chocolate, French Vanilla, or Strawberry creme. The chocolate is my favorite, though all of the flavors were particularly enjoyable.

Throughout my mornings I felt better prepared mentally for any tasks that came up, I also felt better over the two-week period that I have been drinking the CIB. Let’s take a look at some of the nutrition facts (the following is the nutrition facts for the rich milk chocolate without any milk added):

Calories: 130
Calories from fast: 5
Total Fat: 1g
Cholesterol: < 5mg
Sodium: 80mg
Potassium: 320mg
Total Carbohydrates: 27g
Dietary Fiber: < 1g
Sugars: 20g
Protein: 5g

It has the electrolytes potassium and sodium, as well as carbohydrates for energy and a significant amount of protein (5g).

Now, let’s look at all of the vitamins:

Vitamin A
Vitamin C
Calcium
Iron
Vitamin D
Vitamin E
Vitamin K
Thiamin
Riboflavin
Niacin
Vitamin B6
Folic Acid
Vitamin B12
Biotin
Pantotheric Acid
Phosphorus
Iodine
Magnesium
Zinc
Copper
Manganese

All of these vitamins and minerals are great for both adults and children alike, especially the amount of calcium and iron.

Carnation Instant Breakfast can be purchased at most grocery stores in three different packages: a can of powder, individual packets, and ready-to-drink bottles. It is a great and nutritious way to start your morning, and I highly recommend it. I drink it in the morning, before running, before workouts, and before I go to bed; it just has a great taste and keeps me healthy.

The Master Key to Personal Change (Really!)

June 27th, 2008

What if I told you that there is one thing you can do that would make more of a difference in changing your life than anything else I know of? What if I told you that this thing can be done almost anywhere, can be performed by anyone, is free, takes no special equipment, is stress reducing, and even relaxing? What if I told you that this thing, more than anything else you’ve tried, can truly change the way you live, the way you relate to people, the way you perceive the world and most importantly, the way you think and feel? Would you do it?

Well, many of you have already tried it and given up. Some of you are doing it and some have never tried it. What is it? It is meditation. Now before you groan and sigh, hear me out.

In my own journey for personal growth, I’ve tried many, many techniques and methods. I’ve studied with many therapists, coaches, teachers and masters. I’ve attended workshops, seminars, and teleclasses. All of the strategies that have helped me grow are in my own personal tool box. I use many of these techniques in my workshops and my coaching. But the one that I depend on in my personal life the most is meditation.

Meditation is like a foundation for the house (self) I’m building. It is like preparation of the field for planting by clearing and tilling. Many of the tools and methods I’ve learning worked well because of the foundation (meditation) on which they were built. Meditation’s effects are cumulative and can be very subtle. You may not even notice on a day to day basis that changes are occurring. Then one day you look around and notice that you are clearer, less stressed, calmer and have a feeling of being “more” you. One of the more profound effects of meditating is the strengthening of the “witness” or “observer” part of myself, that is, the part of me that observes how I am acting or reacting and notices the emotions I feel, but is not “hooked” by them. This witness function is vital to personal evolution.

fter all, it is what gives you the observation or insight in the first place. If you cannot observe what you are doing, you cannot gain understanding and/or change it. This is where real growth occurs. When you have a strong witness within, you have distance from what you are feeling and reacting to. This keeps you from being totally at the mercy of your thoughts, feelings, sensations and reactions. What an incredible relief!

The obstacles to meditating are the same obstacles we have to doing anything that is new or may actually be good for us. Our ego gets involved and tells us we don’t have time or the space or can’t figure out how to do it or we don’t feel like it today, etc.

I find that daily practice works best for me. You cannot have a bad meditation. Every meditation, even one where you are wiggling or have whirling thoughts or fall asleep
are good meditations, because one of the main purposes of meditation is to learn about yourself. You can build a meditation habit just like you build a habit for anything. Do it every day whether you want to or not. Set aside the time, say 15 to 30 minutes to start and begin.

There are many books on how to meditate (see below for recommendations), but in brief:

Sit up straight on the floor on cushions or on a chair.

Your head is held balanced on your neck with chin slightly tucked to your chest.

Feet flat on the floor or crossed with right leg in front of left if on floor.

Hands in your lap, right hand palm up on left palm.

Do not lean your back against a wall or chair, unless you have a medical reason to do so.

You should be in an alert but relaxed position.

You may close your eyes or keep them partially open in soft focus looking down to a point about six feet in front of you.

You may have to build up your stamina to remain in this position for the full time.

If you fall asleep, sit up very straight, and no leaning.

And of course, never meditate while driving or doing something that requires your concentration. This is by no means intended to be a complete discussion of meditation, just enough to get your started.

School Prayer, Right Or Wrong

June 27th, 2008

In the Bill Of Rights, the First Amendment to the Constitution, titled “Freedom of Religion, Press, Expression” states the following: “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”.

Now, I am not an attorney nor am I a legal scholar, and I realize that the courts have interpreted the foregoing in numerous ways, however, I also realize that how the Amendment is interpreted depends on which judge is sitting on the bench at the time a case is heard and just because a person is a judge does not mean that that person is infallible and it does not mean that that person does not have his or her own agenda. Judges are, after all, still human.

In my opinion, having organized prayer in school is not “an establishment of religion”, but is instead the carrying out of the will of the majority of the people in this nation. I further believe that to forbid school prayer is “prohibiting the free exercise thereof”. It is also “abridging the freedom of speech” of the majority. This nation is supposed to be a Republican Democracy where the will of the majority of it’s citizens is supposed to rule. As far as I can determin, the majority of the citizens in this country believe in prayer, of one type or another, and only a small minority, comprised of certain athiests, far left politicians, “Hollywood celebrities”, etc., are against prayer. To allow this small minority to override the will of the majority is wrong. To allow this small, very loud, very activist, very well financed minority to take away the right of the ’silent’ majority, to pray as they wish, is to allow them to corrupt our system and to take away freedom of religion from our citizens. I realize that our citizens can still pray at home and in church, however, public schools are paid for with public tax dollars, and as long as the majority of tax payers want school prayer then they should have school prayer.

When a teacher leads a class in prayer, no one is forced to pray. Some people claim that when a child does not join in the praying, that child may be embarrassed or ridiculed by the teacher or other students, therefore they claim that class prayer is harmful. I disagree. No good teacher would criticize a student for not praying. If a teacher does so then that teacher should be reprimanded or dismissed because that teacher is not worthy of being a teacher. If some students ridicule a non praying student then those students have not been taught properly about the rights of others and should be corrected. For my own reasons, I never prayed during class prayer and no one ever said anything to me. I was never ridiculed or critcized. I knew others that did not pray and to the best of my knowledge they never had any problems, except that some of their parents embarrassed them by complaining to the school. It seems that while the non praying students did not mind school prayer, their parents did.

The majority of Americans find hope and comfort in prayer. To deny them the right to pray because a small minority does not approve, is just plain wrong. I realize that in a small number of cases some children do have problems with school prayer, but to deny the large majority of students the hope and comfort of starting their school day off with a prayer is to stomp on their rights. To deny the majority their religious freedom goes against what this country stands for.

One of the most important things about attending school is that children learn how to deal with other people. All kinds of things go on in school that affect or bother various students. They can not and should not be protected from everthing that they don’t like. Some children are embarrassed by going to physical education class, should we then take physical education off the curriculum? Some children are bothered by certain things taught in history class, should we then take history off the curriculum? Some children are embarrassed because they are not good at math, should we then take math off the curriculum? If we took everything off the curriculum that might embarrass or bother a student there would no longer be any schools. If we protected the students from everthing that bothered them then they would not learn how to cope with problems and would not be able to function as adults.

In my opinion, forbidding school prayer is just another case of ‘political correctness’ gone overboard.

How To Succeed In Network Marketing (Part 2)

June 24th, 2008

So, you’ve found a company that you truly believe in. You’ve researched it and learned the business plan.

Now it’s time to build your business.

This is the part of networking that many people have real trouble with…talking to others.

Why?

1)They don’t fully understand and believe in the company

2)Fear of rejection

3)Fear of failure

That’s why you must do your research first. That’s why you must fully believe in the opportunity.

If you already know that you are doing somebody a favor by showing them the opportunity and you are confident that you fully understand it and can answer any questions that they throw at you, then:

  • you will not be afraid of rejection or failure

  • you are simply showing the opportunity and looking for the people that get it

  • you are weeding out the non-believers

  • you are searching for partners that have the same goal that you do

  • you are building a team that wants to succeed

  • you will not mind when somebody decides that they aren’t interested…just thank them for looking and do not mention the business to them again, when they see your success they may still come back for info (nobody wants to be hassled after saying no)

Who should you show this to?

You should show the opportunity to everyone that you can realistically contact, period.

Remember, you’ve done the research and you believe in the opportunity. If you don’t, you are just hoping to get lucky and you should not be bothering people.

Don’t pre judge people, let them all come and see for themselves. It’s a numbers game. You are weeding out the people that don’t get it.

You are finding solid partners who will take the time to learn the business themselves and will believe in the opportunity just like you do. People like you who will make it happen, who will be happy to contact everyone they know. People who will not be discouraged when they get a few “no thank-yous”.

A trained, knowledgeable and motivated downline is a productive downline. You don’t need or want the dead weight.

How do you ask somebody to look at the opportunity?

Simple. Tell the truth. There’s no need to hide anything, no need for tricks.

Tell them you have found a great new idea for a home based business that works. Tell them you have fully researched it, fully believe it is an opportunity that can make significant money, and that you have put your personal money where your mouth is by signing up.

But most importantly, tell them that you are simply showing the opportunity and will not pressure them nor will you mind if they don’t like it…it’s not for everyone. All you want is their opinion as a friend….and mean it!

What if they will not look?

That’s fine. Don’t bother them with the opportunity again, they are still your friends. It is also important to understand why some people react so negatively to a business opportunity.

  • they are afraid to make the commitment because they are afraid they may try and fail

  • they don’t believe

  • they’ve been burned before by a less ethical sponsor or program

  • they are happy with their 9-5 job and really don’t want a change

  • they feel you are pressuring them so you can make money off them

No hard feelings, let them know that you’ll show them if they ever change their minds and leave it at that. Your business should never depend on any one person.

In Review:

Learn and research the opportunity

Believe in the opportunity

Show the opportunity

This is not rocket science…make it happen!

Be the first to understand the power of this new program!

12-Hour Work Days Unhealthy

June 15th, 2008

A study looking at 13 years’ worth of data showed that workers who do overtime frequently were 61 percent more likely to become hurt or ill. Working more than 12 hours a day raised this risk by more than a third.

The risk is not necessarily directly related to the hazards of the job.More likely, long hours induce fatigue or stress in affected workers.

Researchers looked at over 5,000 work-related injuries and illnesses. They found that more than half of them occurred in jobs with extended working hours. After studying the data, they concluded that there was a greater risk of injury as the work hours increased.

BBC News August 17, 2005

Dr. Mercola’s Comment:

This is a great studythat helps emphasize the importance of a prinicple I frequently have to violate. It is not healthy to sleep less than six hours a night, and there are many nights that I go below that, but this is a great reminder that I need to be more vigilant in this area.

One of the keys that I do abide, though, is getting to bed well before midnight. It is rare where I am still awake at after 10 p.m. This is a major area that many people fail to appreciate the importance of. They fail to understand that regularlygoing to sleep after midnight is a sure-fire prescription for devastating your adrenals.

Studies like this one are great examples why the work-life balance movement is growing steadily in this country. If all of your time is spent working, moving and getting things done, you won’t have any time left to actually enjoy life, or care for your body. It’s wise to seek a balance.

  • Get the right amount of sleep. Many people consider sleep to be time wasted. In fact, it is vital for your health. You won’t get any work done while you’re sick, either, so get the rest you need.
  • Put aside enough time to incorporate a routine exercise program into your life. Exercising should come naturally in your daily life. You’ll feel better for it, and the extra energy you get from it will let you work better when you are working.
  • Instead of a rushed meal of fast food, take the time to prepare and eat healthy, natural choices. Form good eating habits by finding your personal metabolic type.
  • Give yourself time to care for your overall emotional health. I recommend taking some time out of your day to use the energy psychology tool Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). It is a psychological acupressure technique that can help you to channel your stress-related thoughts and leave you feeling calmer and more able to face your challenges.

If you spend all your time working, you’ll wreck your health. Take the time to care for yourself, and your life will be better for it.

The “Unsexy” Martial Arts Move That Works Like Gangbusters

June 14th, 2008

Do you know what the single most vulnerable spot on a person’s body is? The spot people will drop everything and anything they are doing to protect? The spot even people jacked up on mind altering drugs or illegal steroids will do everything in their power to cover?

It’s the eyes.

The eye ball is the single most vulnerable spot on the human body.

In fact, if you can jab a person’s eye — and I don’t care how ripped up with muscle he is or how “tough” he thinks he is — you will cause him a lot of pain. Sometimes immense pain.

It’s true.

And we’re all born with a natural instinct to protect our eyes at all costs. Whether it be from a small speck of dust…or a protruding finger in the middle of a vicious street fight.

That’s why, if someone ever attacks you on the street, one of the first things you should do — before messing around with complicated martial arts kicks and punches — is simply jab one or both of his eyes.

At best, you’ll connect and cause him enough pain to forget all about attacking you. At the very least, you’ll cause him to slow down and protect himself, giving you a chance to either escape or go in for an attack of your own.

I realize poking someone’s eye isn’t the most sexy martial arts move in the world, but it works like gangbusters and can keep you alive and in one piece if some lunatic attacks you on the street.

You May Have A Successful Small Business Idea

June 13th, 2008

You surely know that a small idea can lead to a great business success. The first movement is to think of an idea that would be suitable for the business market. After coming up with the idea, the next step is to put that idea into action. Of course, this is a very difficult step and having the idea is only the start of the journey. After that you will have to face many obstacles before being able to carry on with your business project. This is just the beginning of this process and there is a lot of questions you will have to answer before even start.

Some of the main aspects you have to concentrate on when you have business ideas are the abilities and gifts you can pour into the business. It is very important for you to be identified with your business project. Those ideas should be based on activities and actions you take pleasure in doing. For example, if we suppose that you dislike working in the open, landscaping business would not suit you. On the other hand, if you like working with children, setting up baby-sitting or tutoring business would be an excellent idea. In this case, without any doubt you business will be more successful because you will have put your mind, effort and also your heart on it.

Another vital step is to analyze the needs of a specific product or service in your region before setting up your business. Do people of your area need your product? Are there other business like the one you are planning to start? You should ask yourself whether or not you are the only one offering that service or product. If you are not, you will have to analyze the competence you will have to face. You have to think whether the service you are offering is one that customer would repeat, or if it is a one-time specialized service. Obviously, the former are more likely to succeed than the latter.

There are other aspects you have to take into account. These aspects are described below:

- One of them is that if the idea is unique, you will reign the market. But if there is much competition, it will be difficult to enter into the market.

- A second point would be if you can offer quality from the very beginning, otherwise, you won’t succeed.

- Finally, you have to think about your capital to start your own business. There are many business ideas that require little investment and bring great profit. Some demand research, such as daycare service, and others need a large amount of money to begin the business. So take this recommendation into account before investing all your money in a small business idea.

Seven Ways To Revitalise Your Relationship With Your Woman

June 12th, 2008

Has your relationship run out of steam? Do you wish to go back to the loving and excitement of your early times together?

Well you can! The idea is to be different in a romantic way.

1) Unless your woman is very unusual, flowers make all the difference. Not just any flowers, red roses symbolise passion and romance. Bring a lovely bunch of roses and toss flower heads into a fragrantly scented bath for a romantic bath time.

2) Share a shower and cover each other in slippery soap, use the opportunity to caress her body and admire it. Then rub your slippery body against hers to drive her wild.

3) Make time for a weekend break in the romantic cities of Amsterdam, New York or Paris. If the budget is tight, Brighton or other seaside resorts can be just as much fun.

4) Start really listening to your partner. Woman usually love to talk and if you listen carfully you will learn a lot about her needs and desires. As a bonus she will love you for listening.

5) Try to be happier in a spontaneous way. Many men have difficulty being spontaneous, but if you can prove to your partner that being in her company makes you happy she will respond and feel happier herself. Don’t make it elaborate. For instance while out for a walk, just suddenly grab her hand and start skipping or running.

6) Every woman likes to be complimented – not only on her appearance but also her manner or a particularly good meal she has made an effort to cook for you. Try anything you can think of that will boost her ego and give her confidence.

7) Show her you think about her pleasure – buy her a sex toy or some sexy lingerie, or if she likes role play, a sexy outfit.

These seven ideas will help you make a great start. Of course there are many other ways to revitalise a relationship.

The Population of Ibiza and Formentera has Multiplied by Four in 160 Years

June 12th, 2008

The islands of Ibiza and Formentera has quadruplicated their population in the last 160 years, according to the data done by the National Institute of Estadi’stica (INE). The growth of the number of homes has been much more spectacular, but the biggest changes has been from halves of XX century, with the tourist boom, since there has been a tendency to the loss in the number of children of the families. The fact that the population has grown more although the families have less children because the increase of the immigration produced the result of the tourist phenomenon, in which the islands happen to be lacking manual labor towards other regions or foreigners, there for has been receiving workers of services, Spanish as as much foreign.

The tourism also has caused the increase of European population that has established itself in the islands as a second residence or his first in the case of older people and this phenomenon also affects the population data. The city of Ibiza and municipioo of Sant Antoni have had a uninterupted growth during the studied period. First it had 5,118 inhabitants in 1842 and 34.826 in 2001, and the second it has happened from 3,539 to 15,081 in the same dates. Santa Eulria, Sant Josep and Formentera has had some oscillation and has gotten to register censuses lower than the previous one, but in the last years have experienced a remarkable ascent.

Thus, in 2001 Santa Eulria (second municipality in population) it had a census of 19,808 inhabitants; Sant Josep, of 14,267, and Formentera of 5.553. In the smaller Pitiusa, perhaps by its territorial limitations, the growth less is accelerated and exists a tendency to the comparison in number of inhabitants between the secondary municipalities of the island of Eivissa (Santa Eulria, Sant Antoni and Sant Josep). Sant Joan, atypical case the smaller growth, where in 1842 the census was of 3,655 inhabitants and in 2001, of 100 people less, that is to say, 3.555. But they had doubled the homes, since the 613 of 1842 happened to the 1,198 of 1991. The global numbers of Ibiza and Formentera have been increasing throughout all the exposed period. The number of the homes is significant to this ascending curve. The 4,062 addresses of 1842 have become 33.014 in the last.
